Last night, the National Urban League awarded our President and Executive Director Mee Moua and Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC with its Civil Rights Partner Organization Champion Award.

Advancing Justice | AAJC and the National Urban League have a long history of working together as committed partners in striving for economic empowerment and justice for all. The National Urban League honored Moua with this award for our partnership in the civil rights movement and untiring work as a champion in fighting for justice and social change — whether on behalf of Asian Americans through advocacy activities in local communities, or at the highest levels of national public policy and law.

Moua was presented the award by National Urban League President Marc H. Morial during the 12th Annual Legislative Policy Conference at the Congressional Leadership Awards Reception in Washington D.C.
